The Hivemapper Map Features API provides all precisely geo-located map features for a road kilometer for a given week, including turn restriction signs, stop signs, highway exit signs, speed signs, and traffic lights.
Product Specs
When detected objects are properly and successfully geo-located, they become map features that are accessible via the Map Features API. Each map feature is provided with a precise directional value (azimuth), allowing you to understand its orientation in relation to a specific driving route. Access map features in complex traffic zones and monitor changes globally.
Accurate Positioning
The accuracy of object positioning is typically within one meter.
Complex Traffic Zones
The Map Features API includes complex scenarios such as Work Zones, School Zones, and Turn Restrictions under certain conditions.
Change Detection
The Hivemapper Network efficiently identifies changes in road signs, such as speed limits being reduced from 55 mph to 45 mph, or signs being removed.
Azimuth
Each map feature includes the object's azimuth, indicating its orientation relative to a given driving route.
